Communications Disc
Maureen Quin based this bronze wall panel on the Phaetos Disc, a clay disc found at the ruins of the Phaetos Palace, Crete. Originating in Minoan history (2000 – 1700 BC), the hieroglyphics are of unknown content, but could be ritual. Maureen Quin has used these hieroglyphics at the center of the bronze disc as the beginnings of communication, continuing through to modern methods of communication.
