Bronze and Bubbles 18 March 2023
Maureen Quin hosted "Bronze & Bubbles" in her garden as part of the Great Kenton Wine Festival this year. 40 Guests were invited to watch Zano Ntobela pour a bronze sculpture and thereafter enjoy MCC tasting with Riette Eggink from Montpellier de Tulbagh. It was an outstanding success.
Quin Sculpture Garden
Quin herself is one of a rare species of artists who enjoys engagement. For the first time in my long existence, I at last heard, and saw, and felt, how abstraction is formed from realism. I learnt how hard and physically demanding sculpting can be, what art really is, or supposed to be.
